I’ve been coming across some fantastic peacock themed wedding ideas lately so I thought they deserved their own post. The thing with such a colourful theme, it’s probably wise to go easy on the feathers and the teal or it could quite easily go into overkill.

I adore the idea of an elaborate masquerade ball themed wedding. It’s the perfect excuse to really go to town with opulent gowns and intricate masks and it harks back to days when people really had a sense of occasion.
I was recently contacted by Just Posh Masks and just had to feature them and their beautiful masks.
Their website is gorgeous and they have such a wide range of masks available in a variety of lovely colours. They have everything from your traditional Venetian masks, carnival masks, jesters, with feathers or without feathers. You name it, they probably do it!
With weddings in mind, they also have a wide range of wedding masks and I love their his and hers masks ideal for the bride and groom.
If you have a taste for the theatrical, there’s plenty to whet your appetite.
Just Posh Masks are based in Reading and all their masks are imported from Venice and they ship worldwide.

For the bride who wants to feel goth right down to her toes, then there are some utterly fabulous heels out there. I regularly lust after shiny shoes sold by the likes of Kate’s Clothing and Attitude Clothing Co. Their service is prompt and easy and they sell a wide range of New Rock, Demonia and Iron Fist footwear.
There are some lovely girly goth shoes in polka dot and pinstripe which are just adorable.
For the masquerade themed wedding, I just love these Peacock shoes. I could see these along with the gorgeous green silk rose bouquet by Pink Corsage.
For the all out horror themed wedding, then there are these fun bloody shoes!
I tend to be more of a boot girl myself and I love these lacy heeled boots.
