Invitations for the Darkly Inclined

We had our wedding stationery designed and made by the wonderful Lucie at Purple Fairy. She creates Gothic/alternative wedding invitations, save the date cards, table plans and favours in a large variety of styles and colours.

She was very encouraging and approachable throughout the whole process and she created stunning invitations for us and a matching table plan that perfectly complemented our theme.

I had a great time discussing our thoughts with Lucie and her invitations are really stylish and unique and suitable for any theme.

Her pocketfold invitations are really practical and attractive and are brilliant to hold your RSVP, gift list or directions.

Invitations can be customised to match your colour scheme and Lucie also has a fantastic range of fonts to choose from. We opted for Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas font and it looked wicked!

For the Hallowe’en themed wedding, her Bats wallet invitation would be very fitting.

The service offered by Purple Fairy is exceptional. All our stationery arrived swiftly and was very well packaged.

You might not want to go down the hand crafted invitations and there are many websites like Zazzle who have a huge range of customisable printed cards to choose from. I have used them on several occasions for Hallowe’en greeting cards and invitations.

Wedding Stationery Etc produce colour and foil printed personalised wedding stationery. They also have a gothic range and a website currently under construction at Raven Stationery.

Nice! Geesh … I’ll have to divorce my husband just so I can remarry him to have a wedding like this 😀
